5th Annual Golf Tournament needs your help!

 
Date: Friday, September 24

Where:  Pembroke Country Club

Registration @ 11:00

12:00 Shotgun start

  

Our biggest fundraising event is the golf tournament which again will be held at the much improved Pembroke Country Club.  For those of you who golfed and attended the evening activities last year, you know just how much fun it was.  We were able to meet our financial goal thanks to all the people who golfed and donated items but especially because of the many generous members of our hockey organization. 

 

Volunteers are needed the day of event to help with registration, run the contests and prepare the room for the dinner/silent auction.  Any amount of time that you can give to prepare or help out the day of the event goes a long way and we can work around your schedules.

 

Last year we sold out our foursomes and it looks like we will again this year.  To insure your spot contact Ross Murray at .  Checks must be sent in by September 10 to:

You can also purchase dinner only tickets for $35.  Tickets will be sold at upcoming practices and skills.  Payments for foursomes will also be accepted.

Hello all.  Just wanted to let you know of some changes we were just informed of today by Bavis.  Our large surface ice was canceled for this week so all practice hours will start next week. Our block of hours has also changed.  I will be changing all of the already scheduled ice this week.  The teams will stay in the same slots but here are the new hours.

Tuesday Rk B moved back 10 minutes -- 4:20, 5:20, 6:20, 7:20
Tuesday Rk A-- moved up twenty minutes to 5pm.
Wednesday Rk A-- moved up to 8pm
Thursday Rk B still at 8:20
Friday Rk B- moved back to 5:20, 6:20
Sunday Skills 5:10, 6:20, 7:30.

Sunday skills will most likely Sept 19th or 26th.

We are in the process of scheduling our practice ice. Tomorrow Aug 27th is the last Cross Ice, and practice will start the following week of Monday August 30. Unfortunately Rink B Bavis (Newer Rink) will not be ready until the week September 6th.  Teams scheduled on Bavis Rink A will start one week ahead of those scheduled on Rink B.  The SSC has also provided ice to us, and each team should have already had one hour scheduled at various arenas.

All parents should have received a log in password.  Under the log in, you can set up your profile with multiple e-mail addresses so that both parents and any family member may receive all HYHA and more specifically team updates, schedule additions and cancelations and coach bulletins as the season progresses.

Also-- In order for skaters to hit the ice for practice, they must be registered with USA Hockey.  Please register on line if you have not already at the link below.

  HYHA FIFTH ANNUAL GOLF EXTRAVAGANZA

 
Hello members.  The Golf Committee would like to get out all the information out that you will need for the Golf Tournament.  The Golf Tourney is at Pembroke Country Club, September 24, 2010.  Registration is at 11 am with a Noon Shotgun, Florida Scramble Start. Cost is $135 per golfer ($540/Foursome).  The cost includes golf, dinner and an HYHA Giveaway Swag Bag. Dinner/Dancing tickets may be purchased for $35.  Contact Sofia Bulman for dinner only tickets.   
 
To register for the tournament please send an e-mail to Ross Murray or Gerry McCormick with the names of your Foursome Players. The golf tournament sold out last year and projects to do the same this year.  To guarantee your spot, a check must be in before registration close on September 10^th.  Checks can be dropped with a Golf Committee Member, with a follow up e-mail to Ross Murray.
 
We are also looking for Hole Sponsors.  The cost is only $100.  If interested please reach out to Lara Taylor.  
 
HYHA Hockey Teams will be asked once again to provide a theme gift basket. Head Coaches and Team parents will be taking the lead on this. Daryce Morris will be the Gift Basket Coordinator.  Prizes will be given out to the team whose Gift Basket sells for the highest price. Please reach out to her with any questions or needs for basket ideas.  .
 
The golf tournament is a key fund raiser for the organization and we depend on it’s success to help offset our rising costs.  We are looking for any donations for our raffles.  Tickets, pictures or any giveaways would be much appreciated. Thank you for all your support. We are also looking for golf day volunteers to assist with the tournament. If available please contact Sofia Bulman.
